#truLondon is back, this time at the new Broadbean HQ for the September 2016 edition. As always we are mixing things up a little bit to keep the event unique. To keep things intimate we are capping attendance at 80. Tickets are on a first come first served basis, so book now.
The tracks will be divided in to 5 streams:
The source lab
A series of tracks and interactive sessions sharing tips and tricks for:
> Identifying talent
> Outreach and engagement
> Cool tools and tactics
> Recruitment marketing
Hype, predictions, and disruption
Tracks designed to identify the real trends and practices that are changing the way people connect and hire, determining truth and reality. Where is digital recruiting going? What does Microsoft’s acquisition of LinkedIn, and Randstad’s purchase of Monster mean for recruiters? How will people connect with jobs and opportunities now and in the future? What happens when all data and all people are aggregated,and jobs look for people rather than people looking for jobs?
This and more will be addressed in these sessions.
Third party, agency, and RPO
This series of tracks will address the current issues and challenges facing third party recruiters going forward, from the market now to the market of the future. What will agencies look like in 2 years, 3 years, 5 years and beyond? What new models of agency and revenue generation are emerging, and what part will RPO play in the recruitment market of the future. From MSP to contingency fee, everything is open for discussion and debate.
Show and tell
In these ever popular sessions, tech companies will have 20 minute slots to show their product, divided in to 5 minutes for a discussion on the problem they are looking to solve, up to 10 minutes to show product and 5 minutes for Q & A. We will enforce times, and as always, give you the first opportunity to see many new products.
The Bot Bonus.
There is lots of talk around AI (artificial intelligence), machine learning, chat bots and search bots. As an added bonus for #trulondon we have brought together a team of people who are working in this space, or have a good understanding of how this might impact recruiting. This session is going to be part discussion and part hack, as we look to get a real understanding of what is possible now, some of the products already emerging here and in the global market, and where this trend might go.
This is designed as a continuous session you can dip in and out of rather than fixed track sessions. We think this will provide an equal balance of wow moments and laughs.
What will the agenda be?
The tracks and track leaders will change every 40 minutes (except show & tell which is 20). Anyone can be a track leader and lead a discussion on a topic close to their heart, or share tricks and tactics in the sourcing lab. #trulondon is the place where many established speakers got their first opportunity to share their thinking and establish a reputation, we want this to be a tradition that continues, and love to see new faces as well as old friends.
If you want to lead a track, book a track leader ticket and notify us of the track title, a few words on your thoughts, a head-shot and the stream you want to join.
If you are a product company and you want to get the opportunity to show what you have to offer, reach investors and influencers and get some real honest feedback from an informed group, book a show and tell ticket and send us no more than 50 words on what you do. (There are only 18 slots.)
If you want to show up and take an active part in discussions, but you don’t want to lead a track or show a product, book a participant ticket. There are 50 available, first come first served.
In keeping with the #tru principles of making events accessible to all, we don’t charge a fixed price for admission, we ask for a donation, and for people to give what they can. Please keep in mind that we will be laying on lunch and drinks, as well as the cost of the event when you donate, because we don’t want to change things.
